Lumecca Peak IPL
Pigmentation, Sun Damage & Redness
Lumecca Peak uses intense pulsed light to target melanin and vascular irregularities — clearing pigmentation, freckles, and broken capillaries for a brighter, more even complexion. Recommended series of 5–8 sessions depending on skin tone and concern severity.
Treatment intensity and session count are calibrated to your Fitzpatrick skin type and the specific concerns we’re addressing.
What Lumecca clears
Sun damage, pigmentation, and redness — in fewer sessions
Lumecca Peak is a high-powered intense pulsed light (IPL) that targets melanin and the hemoglobin in blood vessels at once — clearing brown spots and breaking down visible redness for a brighter, more even complexion. Most often treated on sun-exposed areas: face, neck, chest, and hands.
Before & After
Visible clearing of pigmentation and redness
After treatment, brown spots darken into a “coffee grounds” texture and flake off over several days, while redness and broken capillaries fade. Most clients reach their result over a series of 3–6 sessions.
The technology
InMode Lumecca Peak — the most powerful IPL in its class
Lumecca Peak delivers intense pulsed light at high peak power, so it clears pigment and vascular lesions in fewer sessions than older IPL systems — often with visible improvement after the first treatment.
- Pigment and vessels at once. Targets both melanin (brown spots) and hemoglobin (redness, capillaries) in a single pass.
- Minimal downtime. Mild redness the day of treatment; spots flake off over 3–5 days to reveal clearer skin.
- Best for lighter skin tones. Ideal for Fitzpatrick I–IV; your RN screens skin type and recent sun exposure before treating.
The Soothe IV difference
Your photofacial comes to you
No medspa waiting room, no parking, no rescheduling around your day. A hospital-trained aesthetic RN arrives at your home, office, or hotel with the InMode Lumecca system, sets up discreetly, and treats you in your own space — then is gone before your next meeting.
Every session is performed by an ER- and ICU-trained nurse under Medical Director supervision, with the same clinical protocols and FDA-cleared device you would find in a top Orange County medical spa. Only the setting changes.

Lumecca Peak IPL — FAQ
How many Lumecca sessions will I need?
Most clients see clearance after 3–6 sessions spaced 3–4 weeks apart, depending on Fitzpatrick skin type and the depth of pigmentation or vascular concern. Your Medical Director will confirm the recommended series after reviewing your skin during the telehealth consultation.
Is there downtime after a Lumecca session?
Minimal. Expect mild redness and warmth the day of treatment (typically a few hours). On day 2–3, pigmented spots often darken into a “coffee grounds” texture before flaking off on days 3–5. By day 6+, the treated area looks clearer and brighter. Sun protection (SPF 30+) is required for at least 2 weeks pre- and post-treatment.
What does a Lumecca session cost?
Single sessions typically range from $325 to $650 depending on the treatment area (full face vs. spot vs. chest/décolleté). Series packages and VIP membership pricing are confirmed during the consultation — we don't quote single sessions over the phone because the protocol depends on your specific concern.
Who's a good candidate — and who isn't?
Lumecca works best for Fitzpatrick skin types I–IV with sun damage, age spots, freckles, rosacea, or broken capillaries. We screen out clients with recent sun exposure (tanned skin), active cold sores in the treatment area, pregnancy, photosensitizing medications, or unrealistic expectations. Darker skin types (V–VI) are not candidates for Lumecca — we'll recommend an alternative.
Which areas and concerns can Lumecca treat?
Lumecca clears sun spots, age spots, freckles, rosacea, diffuse redness, and broken capillaries — most commonly on the face, neck, chest and décolleté, hands, and arms. These sun-exposed areas show the most dramatic before-and-after, especially the backs of the hands and the chest.
Can Lumecca be combined with Morpheus8?
Yes — Lumecca and Morpheus8 are a popular pairing. Lumecca addresses surface pigment and redness while Morpheus8 remodels deeper collagen and texture. We sequence them safely and build the right combination around your skin during the consultation.
