Liquid Gold Hydration IV — FAQ
Why a mobile IV instead of just drinking water?
An IV delivers a liter of balanced electrolytes and B-complex directly into the bloodstream in 45 minutes. Drinking the same volume takes hours and depends on gut absorption, which is impaired when you're already dehydrated, hungover, or post-flight. The IV also delivers electrolytes (sodium, potassium, magnesium) in clinical ratios water alone can't match.
When does hydration IV help most?
Post-travel (especially long-haul flights), post-workout, pre- or post-event, sun-exposure recovery, or any morning where you feel under-hydrated. It's the most-booked group IV for bachelor and bachelorette parties, wedding morning-afters, and Coachella recovery dispatches.
Who shouldn't get an IV?
Clients with kidney disease, congestive heart failure, certain electrolyte disorders, or known allergies to IV ingredients are screened out by our triage RN. Pregnant or breastfeeding clients should consult their OB. The intake is brief but thorough — we'd rather decline an unsafe booking than risk a client.
How often is too often?
For most healthy adults, weekly is the upper end. Daily IV hydration is not appropriate — the body needs to regulate its own electrolyte and fluid balance, and over-loading defeats the purpose. VIP members typically book Liquid Gold 2–4 times per month, often around travel and events.
